Dear project partners, dear colleagues,
 
SKUC-LL is very pleased to invite you to the international conference Employment Equality, which will be held in Ljubljana on April 19th & 20th 2007.
 
The conference is a part of European initiative EQUAL and its Slovenian part Partnership for Equality, which is the cooperation between nongovernmental organization SKUC-LL, ZDS Employers’ Association of Slovenia and ZSSS Slovenian Association of Free Trade Unions, and international cooperation with partners within TRACE –  Beneath the Surface from Sweden, Deledios from France and Open and Safe At Work.lt from Lithuania (please, see www.ljudmila.org/lesbo & links).
 
The conference is dedicated to equal opportunities and non-discrimination of sexual minorities in employment and labor market. It will focus on the results and achievements of project’s partners from Sweden, France, Lithuania and Slovenia, the exchange and promotion of good practice and ideas. National and international survey results will be presented concerning discrimination of gays, lesbians and bisexuals at the workplace, including the publication on heteronormativity and homophobia in employment developed during the project. The conference is also aimed to adopt recommendations and proposals for policy making and to submit them to legislators at the national and EU levels.
